Legal information

Terms of sale and software licence

These terms govern purchases, accounts, software licences and use of the Drum Chopper activation service.

Seller and payment

Drum Chopper is supplied by Audiobugz. Stripe securely processes online payments but is not the seller. The product, price, applicable tax, delivery charge and seller details shown during checkout form part of these terms.

Business address: 1st Floor 44-50 The Broadway, Southall, Middlesex, UB1 1QB.

Physical Raspberry Pi units

When a preconfigured Raspberry Pi bundle is offered, Stripe Checkout collects the delivery details shown in the order. Dispatch estimates are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk passes on delivery, and ownership passes once cleared payment has been received. Faulty units and statutory cancellation rights are handled under the refund policy.

Licence

A completed one-time purchase grants the buyer a personal, non-transferable licence to use Drum Chopper on one authorized Mac and one paired Raspberry Pi, subject to the product documentation and these terms. The software, branding and all other intellectual property remain owned by the seller and its licensors.

You may not sell, share, publish or circumvent a licence code; remove technical protections; or distribute the application or its private components. Rights permitted by applicable law are not restricted.

Licence watermark

Signed licence data may include a random watermark associated with your licence. Your name and postal address are not embedded in that watermark. We keep a private server record linking it to your account and, where recorded, the identity details and terms acceptance you supplied. We may use that record to investigate unauthorized distribution and support a related claim, as described in our privacy notice. A watermark alone does not establish who distributed a copy. This does not limit rights under applicable law.

Accounts and activation

You are responsible for keeping account credentials and licence codes secure. Activation uses device-generated public keys and short-lived signed entitlements. We may suspend or revoke a licence after a refund, chargeback, fraudulent payment, material breach, or a credible security threat.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep downloads and activation reliable, but maintenance and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt them. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected licence to the extent permitted by law.
